Today I saw a post on titled 5 Reasons Why LinkedIn Users Still Need A Good Resume. I was in agreement with the author. This thread can also be beneficial to partner level attorneys who typically stop updating their resumes.

While it is not important to have a resume, per se, partners should have and keep track of information to constantly have a pulse on their books of business, nature of clients, hourly rates and annual hours billed and collected. Intended be held close to the vest and not to be published, this information is – whether known or not – part of the “Partner Playbook”. This information is invaluable for compensation reviews, marketability and recruiting.
